For anyone in Hemel Hempstead there are two honest ways to have a psychic reading with me. Zoom from home needs no travel at all. In person means coming into London: about 30 minutes from Hemel station to Euston on London Northwestern trains, with the meeting place shared after you book.
Someone runs a warehouse shift near the M1, collects the children from Leverstock Green, and only at nine at night realises they have been carrying the same worry for months. That is often how people in Hemel Hempstead first look for a psychic reading: not out of idle curiosity, but because something needs looking at and life keeps getting in the way. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, and I would like to make that easier.
To be straightforward about it, I don't see anyone in Hemel itself, and I have written this page with Zoom as the simpler default in mind.
Online psychic readings around Hemel Hempstead's working week
Hemel grew up as one of the post-war new towns, and it is still a working town. The Maylands business area, the distribution sites near the M1 and M25, and the offices around the centre mean a lot of early starts, rotating shifts and long drives. A reading that asks you to lose half a day travelling is a hard sell when you work like that.
Zoom solves most of it. You book a slot that suits your rota, sit somewhere quiet at home in Apsley or Boxmoor, and we begin. Afterwards, a stroll along the Grand Union Canal towpath is a good way to let what came up settle before the evening takes over again. I read using my psychic senses, oracle cards and the impressions I pick up from your energy, and I talk you through each part as I go, so nothing feels mysterious. My page on how readings work on Zoom covers the set-up and what to have to hand.
A Zoom reading is £75 for half an hour or £135 for an hour. Sessions in London are £100 and £160 for the same lengths.
Hearing from loved ones through mediumship
Many people in Hemel have family roots that go back to the first new town years, when households moved out from London to the new estates. When a parent or grandparent from that generation passes, a lot of history goes with them. It is natural to want one more conversation.
Mediumship is a part of my work that I hold with real care. In a psychic medium reading I open to Spirit and share what comes, which may be a personality, a memory, a message or simply a sense of being watched over. I am honest when the link is faint, and no one can guarantee who will come through. What I can promise is that I will treat whatever comes, and you, gently.
Sometimes the message is not about the past at all. People sit down expecting to hear from a grandmother and leave with something practical: permission to sell the family house, to stop blaming themselves, or to finally take the trip they kept postponing. I don't steer the reading towards any of that. I simply pass on what I receive and help you make sense of it in the context of your own life.
I was late getting to my appointment yet she gave me time to get to her and did not rush through the reading.

Where do you catch the train from Hemel Hempstead for a London session?
At Hemel Hempstead station in Boxmoor, not the town centre, and from there trains reach Euston in about 30 minutes. The Water Gardens are lovely, but they are not where you catch the train. Hemel's railway station sits down in Boxmoor, by the moor itself, rather than in the town centre, so it is worth allowing time to get there, especially if you are coming from the Old Town High Street or past the Magic Roundabout at rush hour. Kings Langley has its own station on the same line, a few minutes closer to London.
Plan to arrive with a little slack. Trains do run late, and nobody reads well when they are breathless. If you are held up, let me know; I would much rather start calmly a few minutes late than rush you through the session. The London meeting point arrives with your booking confirmation, so you can work out the final stretch before you set off. If a shift swap or childcare falls through on the day, move the booking or take it on Zoom instead. While you wait on the platform, my article on questions worth asking a psychic can help you decide what to bring.
Developing your intuition, one to one
Some of the people who come to me for a reading have been quietly intuitive all their lives: they knew who was on the phone before it rang, or felt a house was wrong before they stepped inside. If that sounds familiar, the next step might be training that sense for yourself.
My private development tuition is one to one and shaped around you. We work on self-trust, intuitive awareness, clearing the blocks that make you doubt yourself, and building a grounded, safe way of working with your gifts. Everything can be done on Zoom, so a session after a late shift or on a Sunday afternoon is possible. If you would later like the energy of a group, my structured courses run across three levels, and I can share the details and next start dates when we talk.
Michelle is a wonderful and powerful teacher. She creates an encouraging and beautiful environment to follow your intuition and lean into this path.

Booking a reading from Hemel Old Town, Apsley or Kings Langley
When you can't tell which option suits, the free Intuitive Clarity Consultation exists for exactly that. It takes 20 minutes on Zoom and no cards come out: you tell me what is going on, and I suggest whether a reading, mediumship, tuition or something else would help. There is no obligation to book anything afterwards.
When you are ready, choose a time in my online calendar. The academy is open 9am to 5pm, every day of the week, which helps with shift patterns. Should the rota shift after you have booked, the confirmation email lets you rearrange. My guide to the wider county covers Watford, St Albans and the other Hertfordshire towns if you are comparing routes.
Please remember that a reading, including mediumship, is spiritual guidance. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a replacement for bereavement support if grief feels too heavy to carry alone. Clients need to be 18 or over.
