Psychic readings and development lessons for Amersham and Chesham work best on Zoom for most people, since nothing has to be planned around the Metropolitan line. Anyone who prefers to sit opposite me can do so in London only, roughly 35 minutes from Amersham to Marylebone on a fast Chiltern train; the address is emailed after booking.
This page is for people in Amersham, Chesham and the Chalfonts who notice more than they let on, and who would like to understand it properly. Some want a psychic reading. Many more want to develop their own intuition with a teacher who is grounded about it. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, and I teach and read from London. There is no room of mine anywhere in the Chilterns.
Psychic development for Amersham and Chesham
If you live in this part of the Chilterns and this page has caught your eye, you may well be thoughtful, private and quietly certain that there is more to your experiences than coincidence. A recurring dream. Knowing who is calling before the phone rings. A sense of company in an old house in Old Amersham. These experiences can be unsettling when you have nobody to talk to about them, and very steadying once you have a framework.
There are three levels to my structured psychic development courses, each taught live to a group, and anyone who prefers privacy can work through the same levels with me alone. We work on strengthening intuition, learning discernment, which is really the skill of telling a genuine impression from a hopeful guess, deepening your connection to Spirit and, for those drawn to it, mediumship. I'm warm with students and I'm also disciplined: we practise, we check our accuracy and we keep the ego out of the way.
A very well orchestrated class. The teacher is very supportive, with lots of love and kindness, at the same time firm and disciplined in the teaching.

I don't invent fixed timetables for this page. The live syllabus and the date the next group begins are things I go through with you at the free 20-minute Intuitive Clarity Consultation, so you can see whether the pace suits you before you commit to anything.
If you are curious but not ready to sign up, there is a simple first step you can take at home. For a few weeks, jot down the impressions you would normally brush aside: the hunch about a friend, the dream that stays with you, the odd sense of being watched over on a walk through the Chiltern woods. Look back at the notes after a month. Most people are surprised by how much they were already picking up, and the notes give us something real to work with when you start learning properly.
On mediumship specifically, I teach students the same honesty I hold myself to. No one can guarantee who will come through in a sitting, and a good medium says so before they begin. Learning that early protects both you and the people you will one day read for.
The Metropolitan line into town
Amersham and Chesham sit at the far end of the Metropolitan line, with Chesham reached on its own single-track branch along the Chess valley. Chiltern Railways also stops at Amersham, and the faster trains reach Marylebone in about 35 minutes, quicker than the Tube to Baker Street. Little Chalfont has a station on the same route, and people in Chalfont St Giles usually drive the short distance to Chalfont and Latimer or Amersham.
So a London appointment is very manageable from here. Face-to-face sessions are by appointment, and the place we'll meet is emailed to you after you book. You can find out more about readings with me in London, including what happens when you first arrive. Plenty of people still choose Zoom, especially for a first session, because they like to stay in familiar surroundings.
This was my first experience having any form of psychic reading… as soon as I arrived I was put at ease.

How much of the day does a London session take from Amersham?
Allow about three hours door to door for a 60-minute session in London, and a little less for 30 minutes. That covers the Chiltern train from Amersham, the short onward hop from Marylebone and some breathing space either side. The Metropolitan line from Chesham is slower, so add extra time if that is your station.
Timing helps. A late-morning or early-afternoon slot keeps you off the busiest commuter trains in both directions and gets you home before the evening rush through the Chalfonts. If the day goes wrong, with a poorly child, a cancelled train or simply no energy, you can rearrange from your confirmation email or book a Zoom slot instead.
As a rough guide for people here, development lessons and coaching tend to sit well on Zoom week to week, while a first reading is the one people most often want in person, and Reiki is always face to face in London.
Reiki for the Chess valley and the Chalfonts
The River Chess is a clear chalk stream, and walking beside it from Chesham towards Latimer is about as restful as the Home Counties get. Some people want that same feeling of slowing down in a more focused form. I'm a certified Reiki Master Practitioner, and a healing session, held in person in London, is quiet time in which you lie or sit comfortably while I work with your energy. People often say they feel lighter and more settled afterwards.
You can read about how my Reiki and energy healing sessions work and decide whether it appeals. Reiki is a complementary practice. It can help you feel calmer and more balanced, and it does not replace medical care, so stay in touch with your GP about any health concern. Healing also sits naturally alongside development work, because students who feel grounded tend to read more clearly.
Old Amersham, Chalfont St Giles and a slower pace
Old Amersham, with its coaching inns along the High Street and its market hall, feels a world away from the newer streets of Amersham on the Hill up by the station. Chalfont St Giles has Milton's Cottage, where the poet John Milton lived for a time to escape plague in London. It is an area where people tend to value reflection, long walks and a measured pace, and that suits the kind of work I do.
Not everyone here is a seeker, of course. Some of the people in these villages run businesses from home offices, consult for London firms two days a week or have stepped back from a demanding career and are wondering what comes next. For them, my intuitive coaching for business owners can be the better fit: a series of sessions mixing readings with practical coaching on decisions, confidence and direction. I work especially with women and founders, and I've spent enough years in senior roles to understand the pressures.
Starting out, one conversation at a time
If you're not sure whether you want a reading, healing, coaching or to start learning, the free consultation on Zoom is the gentle way in. It lasts 20 minutes and it isn't a reading in itself. You tell me what's been happening, I ask a few questions, and I'll suggest what might help, with no pressure at all.
Some practical honesty to finish. Everything I offer is for adults aged 18 or over. Readings, coaching and healing are offered as guidance and support, and they are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you live elsewhere in the county, my overview of Buckinghamshire compares the Marylebone and Euston routes in and the options for each town.
