Every part of Kent, from the Medway towns to Romney Marsh, can reach a psychic medium over Zoom without leaving home, and most people across the county find that easiest. Face-to-face sessions are in London: Gravesend is about 25 minutes from St Pancras, Tonbridge about 40 from London Bridge and Maidstone about an hour from Victoria.

This page is for anyone in Kent who has been thinking about a reading with a psychic medium and wants to know how it would actually work from where they live. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, and I work from London. I have no base anywhere in the county.

Kent is a big county, and the right choice depends on which part of it you call home. Someone in Gravesend can be at St Pancras quicker than some Londoners can cross the city. Someone in a village out on Romney Marsh may find that Zoom is the only option that makes sense on a working day. Both are welcome, and both get the same care.

Getting from Kent to an in-person reading in London

The high-speed line out of St Pancras changed things for north Kent. Fast Southeastern services run through Ebbsfleet and Gravesend and on to the Medway towns, while the main lines carry people from Maidstone into Victoria and from Tonbridge into London Bridge and Charing Cross. Every London session is booked ahead, and I share where we'll meet once your booking is in. Here is roughly how the trip looks from the Kent towns that have a page of their own on this site.

Travelling fromUsual routeFastest train, roughly
GravesendHigh-speed to St PancrasAbout 25 minutes
DartfordSoutheastern to London BridgeAbout 35 minutes
Chatham and RochesterHigh-speed to St PancrasAbout 40 minutes
TonbridgeSoutheastern to London BridgeAbout 40 minutes
MaidstoneMaidstone East to VictoriaAbout an hour

Those figures are for the quickest trains, so allow extra for reaching your station and crossing London afterwards. If the round trip would eat most of your day, Zoom is the kinder choice. I would much rather you arrive at a reading calm than breathless.

High-speed fares cost more, so if you're coming from Gravesend or the Medway towns, compare them with a slower Southeastern train before you book. A late-morning slot keeps you off the peak services, and on strike or engineering days, rearranging from your confirmation email is far kinder than a replacement bus.

Zoom sessions for the rest of the Garden of England

A good deal of Kent sits a long way from any London terminus. From Canterbury, Ashford, Thanet, Folkestone or the villages of the Weald, a reading on Zoom from your own home is usually the sensible route. It is the same session I give face to face, built on psychic insight, oracle cards and a careful sense of your energy, explained in plain language, and we always leave a few minutes for anything you want to ask.

People are often surprised by how personal it feels. You are in your own armchair, perhaps with the dog asleep at your feet, and nobody has seen you walk in anywhere. In a small Kent village, where the neighbours tend to notice comings and goings, that privacy can matter more than you expect. A 30-minute Zoom reading is £75 and a 60-minute one is £135.

What people across the county tend to carry

A county this varied brings a wide range of questions, though some themes come up again and again in readings generally. Commuters on the north Kent line often feel the strain of long days split between two places. People in the county town and the Medway towns bring work crossroads, family worries and relationship patterns they keep repeating. In the commuter belt around Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, many people run a business or lead a team and want a clearer head before a big call.

For founders and business owners in particular, one reading is sometimes the start rather than the end. My ongoing intuitive coaching for business owners can run over a series of sessions on Zoom, so you can keep the thread going without a train in sight. We look at decisions, confidence and the habits that keep pulling you off course, and I help you trust your own judgement again.

Michelle identified behaviours and patterns holding me back with astonishing accuracy and provided helpful advice to overcome these.

A psychic medium for families who are grieving

Kent's churchyards, from the great cathedral precincts at Canterbury and Rochester to the small flint churches of the Weald and the marsh, are full of family names that go back generations. When someone you love joins them, the wish to know they are at peace can be strong. A mediumship reading is one gentle way of exploring that wish, and it works as well on Zoom from a farmhouse near Ashford as it does in London.

I approach it with care and plain honesty. I describe what I receive, I don't embellish it, and I leave you to say what you recognise. Spirit can't be summoned to order, and no one can guarantee who will come through, so I never promise a particular person. For most people an hour gives the connection room to settle.

Kent towns with a page of their own

The larger towns each have a page written around how life there actually works. My page for Maidstone, the county town covers the Maidstone East line and how a Zoom reading can sit inside a busy working week. The Chatham and Rochester page looks at the Medway towns, from the castle and cathedral to the dockyard and the university campuses. And if you live just inside the M25, my notes for Dartford and Ebbsfleet explain why it is one of the easiest places in the county to reach London from. Gravesend, and Tonbridge with Tunbridge Wells, have pages too, and every Kent town is listed further down.

Can I develop my intuition from Kent without travelling?

Yes: private tuition runs on Zoom, and the group course format is explained at the free consultation. Some people come to me for a reading and go home wanting to understand their own sensitivity. My development courses are taught as live group training over three structured levels, and any level can be studied with me privately instead. I teach with warmth and with discipline, because grounded gifts are the ones that last. During the free Intuitive Clarity Consultation, a 20-minute talk on Zoom, we can go through the syllabus as it stands, the date the next group is due to begin and the way its sessions run.

A very well orchestrated class. The teacher is very supportive, with lots of love and kindness, at the same time firm and disciplined in the teaching.

A few kind but important notes. My clients and students all need to be 18 or over. Everything I offer, from readings to coaching and healing, is offered to steady and guide you; it is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice from a qualified professional.

Psychic Medium in Kent: FAQs

Can I have an in-person psychic reading in Kent?

No. My in-person readings are London-only and booked ahead, and nothing is held in Kent itself. Much of north and west Kent is well connected, though, with fast trains into St Pancras, Victoria and London Bridge. If the trip doesn't suit you, choose Zoom instead: it is the identical session, and the screen takes nothing away from it.

Which part of Kent is quickest for reaching a London session?

Gravesend usually wins, at about 25 minutes to St Pancras on the high-speed line, with Dartford about 35 minutes from London Bridge. Chatham, Rochester and Tonbridge are each around 40 minutes on their fastest trains, and Maidstone is about an hour to Victoria. Further east or south in the county, a Zoom session is usually simpler, especially on a weekday.

Is a Zoom reading from Kent as accurate as one in person?

Yes, I find a reading over Zoom just as clear as one in the same room, because I am tuning into your energy rather than reading body language. From a Kent village or town it also spares you the train and the rush home. A quiet room, a steady connection and ten minutes beforehand to settle are all you need.

Can you run a workshop or private event at a venue in Kent?

Possibly, yes. For teams, a corporate workshop is possible at your office or online, and a private event can be held at your chosen venue, so a Kent workplace or a private home is worth discussing. Send me the date, roughly how many people and the kind of experience you have in mind through the contact form, and we can see whether it works.

Where should I start if I live in Kent and I'm unsure what I need?

Begin with the free Intuitive Clarity Consultation. We spend 20 minutes on Zoom talking through where you are, and from that we can tell whether a reading, coaching, a course or a mentoring pathway would serve you best. It isn't a psychic reading. You can join from home anywhere in Kent, and my hours are 9am to 5pm, seven days a week.
