From St Albans or Harpenden, coaching and psychic readings can run over Zoom at home, or as a booked session in London. Thameslink trains from St Albans City run straight into St Pancras, which makes the London option easy, and I pass on where we're meeting by email after booking.
Stand by the lake in Verulamium Park and you can see most of St Albans' long story at once: the remains of the Roman city wall in the grass, the cathedral above you on the hill, and the old streets climbing towards the market. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, and the work I offer here is mostly about the future rather than the past, through intuitive coaching, psychic readings and development courses.
I don't work from St Albans, and coaching, readings and most development work can just as easily happen on Zoom.
Intuitive coaching for owners running their own firms
St Albans has a lot of people who built something: consultancies run from a converted loft, shops and practices on the old streets, professionals who left a City firm to work for themselves. Running your own business can be lonely at the decision points. You have advisers for the numbers, but rarely anyone to help you listen to what you already sense about a partner, a hire or a new direction.
My own earlier career included leadership posts in banking and then social care, which taught me how heavy it feels to be answerable for a team's wages and welfare. That background shapes how I coach: calm, practical and honest, with the intuitive work always tied back to something you can actually do on Monday morning.
That is where my intuitive coaching for business owners sits. It is ongoing, one to one, and built around the real decisions in front of you. Over a series of sessions we look at:
- the choices you keep circling without committing to;
- patterns in how you lead, price your work or say yes when you mean no;
- where your energy goes in a week, and where you would like it to go;
- how to tell a sound gut feeling apart from fear dressed up as caution.
I bring psychic insight and oracle cards into coaching when they help, alongside practical next steps you can act on between sessions. I have a particular warmth for women running their own businesses, and the door is open to anyone who leads, or wants to.
I am normally resistant to give 5 star ratings, but I have truly been moved by Michelle's guidance.

Harpenden families and room to think
A few miles north, Harpenden has a different rhythm. Its common, its tree-lined roads and its station full of morning commuters belong to a town where a lot of life revolves around children, schools and a partner who is on the 7.15. For many parents there, the hardest thing to find is an hour that belongs only to them.
A reading can be that hour. People bring questions about relationships, about a marriage that has gone quiet, about whether to return to work after years at home, or about a teenager they no longer quite understand. I listen first, then share what I receive, and I keep my language plain.
Sometimes there is something older underneath: a sense of a grandparent close by, or dreams that feel like visits. If a reading turns towards Spirit, I will tell you honestly what I receive, because no one can guarantee who will come through. Zoom works well from Harpenden or Wheathampstead, because you can take the call once the house has emptied, with no childcare to arrange.
Learning to read intuition yourself
Coaching often wakes something up. Once people start noticing how often their instincts were right, many want to understand that ability and use it on purpose. My structured psychic development courses are the natural next step. There are three levels of live group training, and any of them can be taken privately one to one if a group is not for you.
The courses build trust in your own intuition, widen your psychic abilities, deepen your connection to Spirit and teach discernment, so you learn to tell a genuine impression from wishful thinking. Mediumship is part of the later work.
St Albans has always been a place of pilgrimage, built around the shrine of Alban on the hill, and I think there is something fitting in people from the city wanting to explore the spiritual side of life seriously and carefully. In my groups that means grounding and protection come first, practice comes second, and nobody is rushed into giving messages before they feel ready. I keep the atmosphere kind and the teaching disciplined, because both matter. At the free consultation I can tell you the present syllabus and when the next group begins.
Michelle is amazing, and so in tune with her guides. My reading was incredibly accurate and gave me much clarity.

Thameslink from St Albans City to an in-person session
For anyone who wants the reading in person, the journey in is an easy one. Thameslink trains from St Albans City reach St Pancras in about 20 minutes, and Harpenden is only a few minutes further up the same line. London Colney has no station of its own, so most people from there drive or take the bus into St Albans for the train.
You will find the format, and what I suggest you bring, on the page about my London readings in person. In-person readings are £100 for 30 minutes or £160 for an hour, and on Zoom the same lengths cost £75 and £135. Coaching packages and courses are priced individually, and I explain them at the consultation.
Can I keep coaching going from St Albans without the train?
Yes, book Zoom instead: readings and coaching work the same on screen, and the only thing you skip is the train. For parents in Harpenden or Wheathampstead, the window between drop-off and pick-up is often the easiest hour of the week to protect, and a call from the kitchen table fits it without any childcare to arrange.
If you work from home some days and in town on others, a simple rule helps: Zoom on home days, London only when you are already on the Thameslink. Should a client call or a school event land on top of the session, rearrange through your confirmation email rather than rushing through it. Coaching in particular works best unhurried, with a few minutes afterwards to write down what you noticed.
A first step, free of charge
The free Intuitive Clarity Consultation is where most of this starts. It is a 20-minute Zoom call, not a reading, in which I get a sense of what is going on for you and we choose the support that would genuinely help: one reading, a coaching series, a course, or private mentoring. If coaching suits you, my Butterfly Transformation Packages begin with a Clarity Session and grow from there.
For other towns nearby, including Hemel Hempstead and Welwyn Garden City, my page covering the rest of Hertfordshire sets out the routes into London.
A kind word of caution, too. My coaching and readings are spiritual guidance and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, which a business owner in particular should take separately. I work with adults who are 18 or over.
