A psychic development course gives your intuition a structure to grow in. Many people who contact me already sense things: a knowing about a friend just before the phone rings, dreams that later turn out to mean something, a strong read on a room the moment they walk in. What they lack is a safe, steady way to understand those impressions, test them and learn to trust them.

At The Butterfly Academy I teach three structured levels of live group training, and the same progression can be taken privately, one to one. I'm a professionally trained Psychic Medium and Intuitive Teacher, and I teach the way I wish I had been taught at the start: with warmth, with clear explanations and with enough discipline that the skills actually take root.

What a psychic development course with me covers

A handful of aims run through every level. You learn to develop your intuition so it becomes something you can work with on purpose, instead of something that appears only when it feels like it. You expand your psychic abilities through regular, guided practice. You strengthen your connection to Spirit, build discernment so you can tell a genuine impression from wishful thinking and, in time, expand into mediumship.

All of this happens in a safe, nurturing environment. Development can stir things up emotionally and energetically, and I want every student to feel looked after while they stretch.

The three levels of my psychic development classes

I describe the levels here as a general progression. I don't list module names, durations, dates or prices on this page, because the syllabus is refined from one intake to the next and I would rather you heard the current version from me directly.

The course runs in three structured levels, each building on the one before. Across them you develop your intuition, expand your psychic abilities, strengthen your connection to Spirit, build discernment and expand your mediumship, in a safe and nurturing group. Most people begin at the first level, including those with no experience at all, and nobody moves on before the foundations feel steady.

A great deal of early development is about self-trust. Many people discover they have been receiving impressions for years and talking themselves out of them. Learning to notice how your intuition speaks to you, whether through images, feelings, sounds or a simple sense of knowing, is where the work starts. Mediumship is brought in carefully, once that grounding is secure, and I explain how I approach it on my mediumship training page.

Inside the Psychic Circle

Alongside the structured levels, I have run a Psychic Circle: a regular gathering where students sit together, practise and support one another's development. A circle has its own atmosphere. Sitting with the same people week after week builds trust, and that trust makes it easier to speak up about an impression that feels small or strange.

Students describe weekly practical sessions connecting with source and with their spirit guides, and some remember the moon ceremonies we have shared. One of the most useful things a circle teaches is humility. I coach students to get the ego out of the way, so that what comes through is clear and nobody feels the need to perform.

A circle also gives you a group of people who understand this part of your life. For many students that companionship matters as much as the exercises, because intuitive development can feel lonely when the people around you at work or at home don't share the interest.

How I teach: supportive, firm and disciplined

My teaching is supportive, and it is also firm. I will encourage you, notice small breakthroughs and give you time to ask every question you have. I will also hold you to the practice, ask you to be precise and steer you back when you drift into guessing.

That balance matters because psychic development is easy to romanticise. Progress comes from showing up, doing the exercises and being honest about what you did and didn't receive. Kindness without structure rarely builds confidence, and structure without kindness rarely builds trust, so I aim to give you both.

Group psychic development classes or private 1:1 training

All three levels are available as live group training and privately, one to one. Both are taught by me and follow the same progression. The difference lies in the pace, the attention you receive and the kind of practice you get.

Group work gives you variety: reading for a stranger teaches you far more than reading for someone you know. Private training gives you depth and lets us stay with a stubborn block until it shifts. If you want individual attention without committing to a full course, my one-to-one psychic development mentoring is more flexible and shaped around whatever you want to work on.

Practising between sessions

What happens between classes shapes your progress as much as the classes themselves. I give students simple practices to carry into ordinary life, so intuition becomes part of the day and stops being something you only do in class.

• A daily grounding practice of a few minutes, before you open up to anything.
• A journal of impressions, dreams and hunches, written down before you know whether they were right.
• Small, low-stakes experiments, such as sensing who is calling before you look, or noticing the mood of a Tube carriage before anyone speaks.
• Honest review, going back over your notes and recording what landed and what didn't.

None of this needs to take long. Ten minutes on most days will carry you further than an occasional long session, and it keeps your skills steady when life in London gets busy.

Students from across London and online

Course students can join from anywhere in London and beyond it. Live sessions may be in person in London or online, depending on the current format, so ask which suits your life best when we speak.

Wherever you join from, the expectations are the same: arrive on time, practise between sessions, and treat the group with care and confidentiality. That steady commitment matters far more than how close you live.

Ethics, grounding and protecting your energy

Ethics are taught from the first level. Messages can affect people deeply, so students learn to ask permission, to deliver information with kindness, to avoid frightening predictions and never to present a psychic impression as medical, legal or financial advice. You also learn when the kindest choice is to say nothing at all.

Grounding and energy care run alongside the ethics. Opening up without closing down afterwards leaves many sensitive people drained or jumpy, especially in a crowded city. You will learn how to open, how to close, how to cleanse your energy and how to recognise when you need to rest.
