I'm based in London, but a great deal of my work happens far beyond the M25. If you're searching for a psychic medium UK-wide clients can reach without travelling, Zoom makes that simple: you can book a reading with me from Manchester, Cardiff or Belfast, or from another country altogether, and join from a quiet room at home. This page explains how distance, time zones and booking work when we're not in the same city.
The Butterfly Academy is a service-area practice based in London with no public address. In-person readings take place in London only, with details confirmed when you book. Everywhere else, we meet on Zoom.
Working with a UK psychic medium from anywhere
Psychic and mediumship work doesn't rely on being in the same room. The connection I make is with your energy and, in mediumship sittings, with Spirit, and neither is limited by miles. Many people are surprised by how personal a Zoom reading feels, especially when they join from somewhere comfortable and familiar.
Online readings suit many different people, for example:
- People elsewhere in the UK: from Birmingham and Bristol to Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh, who want a reading without a trip to London.
- Former Londoners: people who have moved away but want to keep working with someone they already know.
- People living abroad: including those who feel far from family and want to reconnect with a loved one in Spirit.
- Frequent travellers: who book wherever they happen to be that week.
Whatever your situation, the reading itself is the same: psychic insight, oracle cards and energy awareness, explained clearly, with time for your questions. If you'd like a step-by-step guide to the practical side, from links to lighting, I've written about how my Zoom readings work on a separate page.
Without me telling her the whole story, she knew it already.

From Edinburgh to Cardiff: readings across the four nations
Zoom has made it possible to work with a practitioner whose approach suits you, rather than whoever happens to be nearest. Someone in Glasgow might live a long train ride from London, and a reading in person would mean a full day of travel. Online, the same session takes an hour, and you can make a cup of tea afterwards in your own kitchen.
The same is true across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Clients joining from Edinburgh, Cardiff or Belfast see the same calendar, pay the same prices and receive the same care as someone a few miles away from me. If you're in a rural area, a steady internet connection is the main thing to check, so it's worth testing a quick video call with a friend beforehand.
For UK clients who are visiting London anyway, an in-person reading can sometimes be combined with the trip. Session details are confirmed when you book, so you can plan travel around them.
Booking across time zones
My booking calendar runs from 9am to 5pm UK time, seven days a week, and you can change the time zone in the calendar so every slot shows in your local time. That removes most of the guesswork. As a rough guide, here's how my hours usually translate, although the exact difference shifts by an hour or so when clocks change in spring and autumn.
| Where you are | Usual difference from UK time | Slots that often suit |
|---|---|---|
| Paris, Berlin, Madrid | 1 hour ahead | Any time across the day |
| Dubai | 3 to 4 hours ahead | Morning UK slots, which fall around lunchtime or early afternoon |
| Singapore, Hong Kong | 7 to 8 hours ahead | Morning UK slots, which land in the late afternoon or evening |
| Sydney, Melbourne | 9 to 11 hours ahead | Early UK slots, which fall in the evening |
| New York, Toronto | About 5 hours behind | Afternoon UK slots, which fall in the morning |
| Los Angeles, Vancouver | About 8 hours behind | The last UK slots of the day, which fall early in the morning |
If you're in the Americas, weekend slots can be especially helpful, since you can join on a Saturday or Sunday morning without juggling work. Your confirmation email lets you reschedule or cancel, and the times in it follow the zone you chose when booking.
Mediumship readings at a distance
Many people who book from outside London are hoping to hear from someone they've lost. Distance can make grief feel sharper, especially if you couldn't be there at the end or can't easily visit a grave. A mediumship sitting on Zoom gives you a way to seek connection from wherever you are.
I'll always be honest with you: no medium can guarantee who will come through, or what they will share. I pass on what I receive, as clearly and gently as I can, and I tell you plainly if a connection isn't forming. You can read more about my mediumship sittings and what to expect, and if you're unsure which kind of session you need, my article on the difference between a psychic and a medium sets it out simply.
A reading of any kind offers guidance and reflection. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, or for bereavement support, and I'll gently say so if something you're carrying needs more help than a reading can give.
Choosing the right psychic medium in the UK for you
When you can book anyone online, the choice can feel overwhelming. I'd encourage you to look past bold claims and focus on a few grounded questions:
- Training: ask where they learned their craft. I'm a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher.
- Clear prices: costs should be published before you book.
- Honesty about limits: a good reader avoids guarantees and makes clear that readings aren't a substitute for professional advice.
- Reviews: look for clients describing feeling at ease and respected. The academy holds a 5-star rating on Google.
- A chance to talk first: you should be able to speak to them before committing.
That last point matters most when you're far away. You can't pop in to get a feel for someone, so a conversation beforehand is worth having.
Prices and options for online readings
All prices are in pounds sterling and are the same wherever you live.
| Session | Price |
|---|---|
| Intuitive Clarity Consultation, 20 min on Zoom | Free |
| 1:1 reading on Zoom, 30 min | £75 |
| 1:1 reading on Zoom, 60 min | £135 |
| The Clarity Trilogy, 3 x 30 min on Zoom | £191.25, saving 15% |
| 1:1 reading in person, London only | £100 for 30 min, £160 for 60 min |
The Clarity Trilogy can work well for clients overseas, because you book the second and third sessions after the first reading and can space them around time differences and travel plans. When you're ready, you can choose a reading and a time that suits your time zone.
Many of my readings also draw on oracle cards, which work just as well on screen as across a table. The page on how I use oracle cards in a reading explains what they add.
Making a Zoom reading feel personal
A little preparation helps the connection feel close, wherever you are. Choose a room where you won't be interrupted, close the door and silence other devices. A pair of headphones makes it easier to hear every word. Some people like to have a candle lit, a photograph of a loved one nearby or a notebook to hand.
If English isn't your first language, or you're joining from a busy household, tell me at the start and we'll go at a pace that suits you. I'll check in with you as we go, so nothing important gets lost through the screen.
Not sure where to begin
The free 20-minute Intuitive Clarity Consultation is held on Zoom, so it works from anywhere in the UK or abroad. It isn't a psychic reading. It's a calm conversation about where you are and which reading, course or mentoring pathway fits. You can book the free consultation here.
Whether you're joining from a flat in Leeds, a farmhouse in Wales or an apartment on the other side of the world, distance needn't stand between you and the clarity you're looking for. I'd be glad to meet you on screen.
