You can have a psychic reading from High Wycombe or Marlow on Zoom from home, or travel into London for one in person on a booked date. Chiltern Railways trains from High Wycombe reach Marylebone in about 25 to 35 minutes; I confirm the meeting point once your booking is in; nothing takes place locally.
Red kites circle over the beech woods above High Wycombe most days, and anyone who drives the M40 through the Chiltern Hills knows the sight. Below them sits a town that made its name building chairs, and a short drive south, Marlow's high street runs down to the Thames and its white suspension bridge. If you live here and want a psychic reading, intuitive coaching or a calm Reiki session, this page explains how working with me fits around your life.
I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, and my work is based in London, so the sections below look at how each format fits life in the Wycombe district, from Hazlemere to Loudwater.
Zoom readings from High Wycombe and Marlow homes
For most households along the Wye valley, Zoom is the practical option. School runs, a commute up the M40 or a business to keep going leave little room for a train journey into town. A Zoom reading takes up the length of the session and nothing more, and you can join from a quiet bedroom, or from a parked car on Marlow's riverside if the house is noisy.
My readings draw on oracle cards, on what I pick up intuitively and on the feel of your energy, and I explain each piece as plainly as I can. People in this corner of Buckinghamshire bring all sorts of things to a session, for example:
- a relationship pattern that keeps returning in different forms
- a career change after many years with the same employer
- a family decision, such as moving, downsizing or caring for a parent
- a general feeling of being stuck, tired or not quite yourself
There's more on how my Zoom readings work, including setting the booking calendar to your own time zone if you often travel for work.
Coaching for business owners in Wycombe's furniture country
High Wycombe's chair-makers ran workshops, small factories and family firms for generations, and the town's football club is still nicknamed the Chairboys. That habit of making and running your own business carries on today, in trades, consultancies, design firms and small companies on the town's industrial estates. Marlow has its own share of people who swapped a London office for running something closer to home.
Owning a business can be isolating. My intuitive coaching for founders gives you regular, confidential time to untangle big choices, rebuild confidence and spot the small habits that keep tripping you up. Before this work I led teams in banking and later in social care, which means the practical pressures of a business don't feel foreign to me. Many of the women I coach are juggling a company with family life, and sessions can be built around that reality.
Wycombe also knows something about reinvention. The furniture trade that once filled the valley has largely gone, and the town has had to find new work and a new identity, much as many people do in their own careers. If you are rebuilding after redundancy, a closed business or a change of direction in midlife, that is familiar ground for my coaching. We look honestly at what you are good at, what drains you and what your gut has been hinting at for months.
A coaching series often starts with one stubborn question, such as whether to take on a first employee or let a long-standing client go, and widens out from there into confidence, boundaries and what you actually want the business to give you.
Michelle identified behaviours and patterns holding me back with astonishing accuracy and provided helpful advice to overcome these.

Reiki and rest, in person in London
Some people around Marlow and High Wycombe aren't after answers so much as a pause from carrying everyone else. I'm a certified Reiki Master Practitioner, and a Reiki session is quiet, gentle time in which you can let your shoulders drop. People often describe feeling lighter and calmer afterwards, a little like the feeling after a long walk along the towpath out of Marlow.
You can read about my Reiki and energy healing sessions and what happens during one. Reiki is a complementary therapy. It can support how you feel, and it is never a stand-in for medical treatment, so carry on seeing your GP about anything to do with your health. At the free consultation I'll explain which kind of healing session might suit you; Reiki itself takes place face to face in London.
From High Wycombe station to a London appointment
Chiltern Railways runs from High Wycombe to Marylebone, and the fast trains make an in-person session very doable. From Marlow, the little branch line heads down towards Maidenhead, so most people simply drive up to High Wycombe and catch the train from there. Hazlemere and Loudwater are a short hop to the same station.
London sessions are by appointment only, and I'll send the meeting point once your booking is in, leaving only a few minutes to plan from Marylebone. If you'd like to understand what a face-to-face London session is like, that page explains the format. Some people like to combine it with a day in town; others prefer to keep everything at home on Zoom. Both are equally valid.
Can I combine a reading with a day in London from High Wycombe?
Yes, and Marylebone makes it an easy day to plan, because it is a small, calm terminus with the West End close by. Put the reading early in the day, before shopping, a gallery or lunch with a friend, so you arrive with a clear head and have the rest of the day to let it settle. An off-peak train after the morning rush is quieter and usually cheaper.
If you are coming from Marlow, remember the drive or the branch line to reach a Chiltern train first. And if the day itself stops working, a late shift, a child home sick, engineering works on the line, rearrange the appointment from your booking email or keep the same time and take it on Zoom.
Getting started with a free consultation
If you can't decide where to begin, book the free 20-minute Intuitive Clarity Consultation on Zoom. There are no cards on the table for this one. You tell me what's going on and what you're hoping for, and I'll suggest whether a reading, coaching, healing or psychic development would help most. Some people discover they would rather learn to read for themselves, and I teach that too.
Michelle is a wonderful and powerful teacher. She creates an encouraging and beautiful environment to follow your intuition and lean into this path.

If learning appeals, my teaching runs from first steps in trusting your intuition through to mediumship, and I'll explain the current course structure when we speak. Some people take it up after years of quietly noticing things on walks up West Wycombe Hill or through the woods around Hughenden, and simply want to understand what they are sensing.
All my sessions are for adults who are 18 or over. Readings, coaching and healing are there for guidance and perspective, and they are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. For notes on the rest of the county, including the Euston side around Milton Keynes, see my page for Buckinghamshire as a whole.
