Living in Richmond or Twickenham, you can book a psychic reading over Zoom from home, or meet me face to face in London by prior arrangement, and I send the meeting details once the time is fixed. Richmond's District line, Overground and South Western Railway services make the in-person route an easy one.
Reiki and energy healing are where I would usually point someone from Richmond or Twickenham who feels more worn out than confused. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher and a certified Reiki Master Practitioner, and as a psychic I also offer readings and coaching. In this corner of south-west London, though, with Richmond Park, Kew Gardens and the long green banks of the Thames on the doorstep, people often seem to be looking for space and restoration as much as answers.
That shapes this page. It starts with healing, moves to coaching for the big transitions of midlife, then covers readings and my development courses for anyone who wants to learn. The last section deals with getting into London if you would like to see me in person.
Reiki and energy healing, given face to face
There is a reason people walk in Richmond Park when life gets loud. The open grassland, the old oaks and the deer moving through the bracken have a way of slowing the breath. Energy healing works on a similar principle. In a Reiki session I work with your energy to release tension and support a sense of balance, and many people describe feeling lighter, calmer or more themselves afterwards.
Sessions are gentle and unhurried. You remain clothed throughout, you can lie down or stay seated, and I explain what I am doing before we begin. If something surfaces emotionally, we take our time with it. Healing sessions are given face to face in London only. If the trip isn't possible from Teddington or Barnes, a Zoom reading or coaching is the alternative, and we can talk that through at the free consultation.
Reiki is a complementary therapy. It does not replace medical care, and I would always encourage you to keep seeing your doctor about any physical or mental health concern. For a fuller description, including how a session unfolds, see energy healing and Reiki with me.
I loved Michelle's warmth and empathy and it was clear very quickly that she was accurately reading my energy.

Coaching through midlife change
Twickenham and Teddington are full of settled family streets, and settled lives tend to reach a point of quiet questioning. Children leave or need less. A long career starts to feel finished. A marriage changes shape. Perimenopause, caring for parents and the thought of the next twenty years can all arrive at once, and many women find they have spent so long looking after everyone else that they no longer know what they want for themselves.
My intuitive coaching is built for that kind of crossroads. We meet regularly, and in each session we look at where you are through intuition first: what your energy is telling you, what keeps repeating, what you already know but have not said out loud. Then we turn it into practical steps, whether that is retraining, starting a small business, or simply making room for yourself again. My background leading teams in social care and banking means I am at home with the practical side, from a business plan to a difficult conversation with an employer.
Here are some of the transitions coaching can help with:
- leaving a long-held role, or returning to work after years at home
- turning a hobby or a skill into a business of your own
- rebuilding confidence after a separation or a loss
- working out what a meaningful next chapter looks like
You can read more about my one-to-one coaching for women and business owners, and we can talk through whether it suits you at the free 20-minute consultation on Zoom.
A psychic reading from Barnes to East Sheen
Not everyone needs a programme of sessions. Sometimes one clear conversation is enough, and a reading gives you that. In a session I combine psychic insight with oracle cards and an awareness of your energy, and I talk you through what I see so you can ask questions as we go. People bring relationships, work, a sense of drift, or something they cannot name but cannot shake either.
A half-hour reading costs £75 on Zoom or £100 in person in London, and an hour is £135 or £160. The longer in-person sessions include some energy realignment, which pairs well with the healing described above. If you would like to know how the day itself runs, from arriving to the questions at the end, see my in-person readings in London. Everything I do, from cards to coaching to Reiki, is there to guide and support you, and it is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and I see clients who are 18 or over.
Learning to read: development courses for quiet learners
A calm, reflective place often produces people who notice a lot. If rooms have always felt heavy or light to you before anyone spoke, if a dream has later proved uncannily right, or if you have simply wondered whether you have a gift, my psychic development courses are a structured way to find out.
The training has three levels, each delivered live to a group, and each also available as private one-to-one study if you would rather learn on your own. Along the way you strengthen your intuition, widen your psychic ability, build a closer connection with Spirit, learn discernment and, later on, open into mediumship. I am a warm teacher and a disciplined one, because good habits keep the work safe. The content and the next intake are things I go through with you on the consultation call. You can read the outline of how the three course levels work.
A very well orchestrated class. The teacher is very supportive, with lots of love and kindness, at the same time firm and disciplined in the teaching.

When should I avoid travelling in from Twickenham or Richmond?
Avoid big match days at Twickenham Stadium, when trains through Twickenham, St Margarets and Richmond are packed for hours either side of kick-off, and avoid the height of the rush hour if you can. A weekday slot from late morning is usually the calmest way in.
Summer weekends can be busy too, with visitors heading for Kew Gardens, Hampton Court and the river, so leave extra time if you book a Saturday. If the trains are against you on the day, or the thought of the trip feels like too much, rearrange from your booking email or take the same hour on Zoom; a walk by the river at home afterwards can do the same job as the ride back.
From Richmond station to an in-person session
Richmond station is well connected: the District line and the Overground both terminate there, and South Western Railway runs to Waterloo. Twickenham, Teddington, St Margarets and Barnes all have South Western Railway services of their own, and Kew Gardens station sits on the District line and the Overground. Sessions in person take place in London and must be booked ahead; with no public address to publish, I share where we will meet privately when your booking is confirmed.
A sensible mix for many people along the river is Zoom for coaching and readings, with an occasional trip in for healing. You might, for instance, keep a regular coaching slot on a weekday morning from home in East Sheen, then book a longer in-person session when you feel you need the full experience. There is no right answer, only the one that suits your energy and your week. If you are weighing up other parts of the area, my West London overview brings them together.
