Spiritual healing in London with me is a calm, unhurried session in which I tune in to your energy and help you let go of what feels heavy and come back to a steadier sense of yourself. I’m Michelle Virtue, a certified Reiki Master Practitioner and a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher. My healing draws on Reiki, but it is guided as much by intuition as by technique.
This page is for people looking for a spiritual healer rather than one specific method. If you already know you’d like a classic Reiki treatment, my page on Reiki sessions in London covers that in detail. Here I explain the wider healing I offer, including soul restoration healing, what a session involves, who it can help and how the fee is agreed.
Spiritual healing in London, and how it differs from a Reiki treatment
Spiritual healing is an umbrella term. Across many traditions it describes a practitioner acting as a channel for healing energy, with the aim of supporting balance in body, mind and spirit. Reiki is one structured form of it, with its own lineage and hand positions. I give a broader overview of the different approaches in my guide to spiritual healing.
In my sessions, the Reiki training gives the work its structure, and my psychic and intuitive awareness guides where it goes. As I work, I pay attention to where your energy feels stuck, guarded or drained, and sometimes to images or feelings that seem to point at what sits underneath. If something comes through that could help, I’ll share it gently afterwards. If nothing does, the healing stands on its own.

Soul restoration healing with a London spiritual healer
The name came from a client who used it to describe her session with me, and it has stayed because it fits. Soul restoration healing is for times when rest alone doesn’t reach what’s wrong: after a long stretch of pushing through, a bereavement, the end of a relationship, or a period when you’ve stopped recognising yourself.
I felt this energy of comfort and ease… positive guidance and insightful messages.
Christopher Edwards
The intention is to clear some of what you’ve been carrying and to reconnect you with a part of yourself that feels steadier and more your own. It is gentle work. Nobody is asked to relive anything, and you share only what you choose to. Because I shape each session around the person in front of me, two people booking the same thing may have quite different hours with me.
My own respect for this work comes from experience. When my own health took an unexpected turn, that challenge set off a period of healing and renewal, and it brought me back to what I now see as my soul’s purpose. I don’t offer that as a promise of what will happen for you, only as the reason I take healing so seriously.
What happens during a spiritual healing session
Before we begin
We start by talking. I’ll ask what has brought you to healing now, how you’ve been feeling lately, and what you’re hoping the session might help with. I’ll also check whether there’s anything physical I should know about to keep you comfortable, and remind you that you can pause or stop at any point.
The healing itself
You stay fully clothed, sitting or lying down, and your only job is to rest. I work with a light touch or with my hands held slightly away from the body, and much of the session is quiet. Some people notice warmth or a gentle pulsing, some feel waves of emotion, and some feel almost nothing until later in the day. None of these responses tells you whether the healing has "worked".
Afterwards
I bring you back slowly and give you time before you stand up. If impressions came through that might be helpful, I’ll describe them in plain words. Then we’ll talk about small, practical ways to look after yourself over the next day or two: plenty of water, an early night, a walk somewhere green and a few notes about anything that surfaced.
Who spiritual healing can help
The people who come to me for healing are often capable, responsible people who have been holding a great deal. Common reasons include:
- Feeling flat, depleted or numb after a demanding season of work or caring for others
- Emotional heaviness after a loss, a divorce or a break-up
- Old patterns that keep returning, even though you understand them in your head
- A spiritual awakening that feels unsettling and needs some grounding
- Founders and business owners who have lost touch with why they started
- Simply wanting a quiet hour in which nothing is asked of you
Many of the people I work with are women, founders and entrepreneurs, though healing is open to anyone aged 18 or over. If you’ve been searching for a spiritual healer near you, healing sessions in person are held in London, with the meeting details shared privately after booking. Clients come from all over the city, from Hackney and Stratford to Walthamstow, and my page for people living in East London explains how sessions work from that side of town.
For some people, healing becomes one part of a wider process of change. It sits naturally alongside ongoing 1:1 intuitive coaching, and energy work also forms part of my Butterfly Transformation Packages.
Spiritual healing as a complement to medical care
Energy and spiritual healing sit beside conventional medicine, never in place of it. A session may leave you calmer and more settled, yet it cannot diagnose or cure any condition, and it does not replace medical care. Scientific evidence that energy healing does more than help people relax is limited, and I won’t claim otherwise. Like my readings, a healing session offers reflection and support; it is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
Please keep seeing your GP and following any treatment you’ve been prescribed. If you’re in crisis, going without sleep for long stretches, or feeling out of touch with what’s real, please contact your GP or a qualified mental health practitioner before booking any healing. It can come later, alongside that care. If you’re unsure whether now is the right moment, ask me and I’ll give you a straight answer.
Prices and how to arrange spiritual healing in London
There’s no published price list for standalone healing, soul restoration included, because the length and content of each session depend on you. Format and fee are settled during a no-cost Clarity Consultation: twenty minutes on Zoom, and a relaxed conversation rather than a reading or a healing in itself. It also gives you the chance to ask anything that’s worrying you and to sense whether my way of working suits you.
If you’d like healing and guidance in a single appointment, my readings already include energetic realignment in the 60-minute Zoom session (£135) and in every in-person reading in London (£100 for 30 minutes, £160 for 60 minutes). You’re also welcome to write to me through the website’s contact form or call 07482 343459, 9am to 5pm, seven days a week.
Areas I serve for energy and spiritual healing
- What Is Spiritual Healing? Meaning, Forms and EvidenceThe meaning of spiritual healing explained honestly: where it comes from, the main forms, what happens in a session, what research does and doesn't show, and how to choose a healer.
- What Is an Aura? Aura Colours and the Etheric BodyAn aura is the field of energy many spiritual traditions believe surrounds every living being. Here is where the idea comes from, what the colours and layers are said to mean, and how to explore it.
