Reading is close enough for either option: a psychic medium session with me over a video call, or a face-to-face sitting in London, a fast GWR train from Reading to Paddington, with where we meet confirmed after booking. Which suits you depends mostly on how your working week is split.

This page is about the town of Reading in Berkshire, where the Kennet meets the Thames about 37 miles west of London. If you live in Reading, Caversham, Earley, Tilehurst or Woodley and you would like a reading or some clear-headed intuitive coaching, you are in the right place. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher.

I'll be straight with you about logistics: I have no room or venue in Reading and I don't hold sessions in the town, so the choice is a screen at home or a short train ride.

Intuitive coaching for founders and tech leaders

Reading has become the working capital of the Thames Valley. Business parks like Thames Valley Park and Green Park sit beside the river and the M4, and the people inside them tend to carry a particular load: product launches, investor calls, restructures, and the decision that lands on one person's desk late on a Thursday.

That is where my one-to-one intuitive coaching earns its place. It sits somewhere between a reading and a strategy conversation. Together we look at what your intuition already knows about a choice, where fear or an old pattern is muddying it, and what a grounded next step looks like on Monday morning. My own background is senior leadership in banking and in social care, which means I am comfortable with board papers and budgets as well as with Spirit.

The people I most often have in mind when I describe this work to someone in Reading are:

  • founders weighing a pivot, a key hire or a funding round who want to test their gut before committing;
  • engineers and analysts stepping into management whose confidence hasn't caught up with their job title;
  • women building a business alongside a family, worn out from second-guessing every call.

Coaching usually runs over several sessions. The free Intuitive Clarity Consultation, 20 minutes on Zoom, is where we work out whether that suits you. It's a conversation rather than a reading, and there's no pressure to book anything afterwards.

I loved Michelle's warmth and empathy and it was clear very quickly that she was accurately reading my energy.

Wellbeing workshops for teams

Reading's employers run from global software firms to the university, the hospital and the council, and the strain that builds up in those teams is very real. My corporate wellness workshops cover two themes. One is intuition in strategic decision-making. The other is mindfulness with energy recalibration, aimed at stress resilience and focus.

I can run a workshop at your office or online. A session in a Reading meeting room can be discussed, and so can a Zoom format for a team split between the Thames Valley, London and colleagues abroad. We agree the content beforehand so it suits your people, and nobody who feels sceptical is put on the spot. The tone is practical: how to notice a gut feeling, how to tell it apart from anxiety, and how to bring both into a meeting without drama.

Zoom sessions around the commute

Plenty of people in Reading split the week between a London office and working from home. A Zoom session slots neatly into the home days. My readings over Zoom carry the same depth as sitting together in a room: I tune into your energy, bring in oracle cards where they help, and explain what I'm picking up in ordinary language. A laptop in a spare bedroom in Earley works as well as anywhere, provided nobody will knock on the door.

Sessions run from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week, so a Saturday or Sunday slot is there if your weekdays are full. If a train is cancelled or a meeting overruns, you can reschedule from your confirmation email. A 30-minute Zoom reading is £75 and an hour is £135. The Clarity Trilogy (£191.25 for a set of three half-hour Zoom sessions) suits anyone who wants to follow a situation through over a few weeks.

Fast GWR or the Elizabeth line: which suits a London reading from Reading?

The fast GWR service to Paddington, at about 25 minutes, is the quickest way to a face-to-face session. The Elizabeth line also runs from Reading right through central London without a change. It stops far more often, so it's slower, but it can be handy if you are carrying on into town afterwards.

Many people fold the session into a day they already have planned in London. Build in some slack before and after, because a reading is easier when you are not watching the departure board in your head. My page on sessions in person in London explains what happens when you arrive and how the hour is shaped.

If you live in Caversham, Woodley or Tilehurst, add the bus or drive to the station before you count the train time. And on a week when a release deadline or a sick child rules out the trip, keep the booking but take it on Zoom; the reading itself does not change.

From Whiteknights to Caversham: learning your own intuition in Reading

The Reading Festival fills the riverside with crowds each summer, and then the town settles back into its usual rhythm of lectures, labs and commuting. Reading is a university town as well as a business one, and students and staff around the Whiteknights campus are often curious about developing their own intuition. Some want to understand the odd dreams or strong hunches they have always had. My psychic development courses come in three structured levels. You can learn live alongside other students, or privately with just you and me. I go through what each level covers, and when the next group begins, during the free consultation, so you can judge the fit before committing. Everyone who books with me needs to be 18 or over.

A very well orchestrated class. The teacher is very supportive, with lots of love and kindness, at the same time firm and disciplined in the teaching.

Because the phrase on this page includes the word medium, a word on mediumship. You may be hoping to hear from a parent or partner who has passed. I approach that with care, and I'm honest that no one can guarantee who will come through. What I offer is guidance to help you reflect; readings, coaching and healing are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you are in another part of the county, my Berkshire overview covers the wider picture.

Psychic Medium in Reading: FAQs

Is this page about psychic readings in the town of Reading, Berkshire?

Yes, this page is for people who live or work in Reading, Berkshire, including Caversham, Earley, Tilehurst and Woodley. I'm a London-based psychic medium and coach. I don't hold sessions in Reading itself, so you can book a Zoom session at home or travel up to London for an appointment in person. The free 20-minute consultation on Zoom is the easiest place to start.

How long does it take to get from Reading to an in-person session in London?

Allow about 25 minutes on a fast GWR train from Reading to Paddington, plus onward time across London. The Elizabeth line also runs from Reading into central London without a change, though it is slower because it stops more often. Once you have booked I send the exact meeting place, which lets you work out the last leg from Paddington and leave a little margin either side.

Can you run an intuition workshop for my team at a Reading office?

Yes, a workshop at your Reading office can be discussed, or I can run it online for a team spread across sites. I offer two themes: deciding well with the help of intuition, and calming busy minds through mindfulness and energy recalibration. We agree the content in advance so it fits your organisation. Use the contact form to tell me about likely dates, how many people and the format you have in mind.

Is Zoom or in person better for someone living in Reading?

For most people in Reading, Zoom is the simpler choice, because you avoid the train and can book a slot on a home-working day or at the weekend. Online sessions carry the same depth as in-person ones. In person suits you if you like being in the room with someone, or you are already in London that day. Clients must be 18 or over.

Can intuitive coaching help a Reading founder with a business decision?

It can help you get clear on what you already sense about a decision, which is often the missing piece. Intuitive coaching looks at your instincts, the patterns that cloud them and a practical next step. It sits alongside, and is not a substitute for, financial, legal or professional business advice. It works well before a big call, after which you take the decision to your advisers.
