Lewisham, Blackheath, Brockley and Catford are a short DLR, Overground or Southeastern ride from my London sessions, so a psychic reading or private tuition face to face is easy to arrange; I share where we'll meet after you book. If staying home suits you better, every session also runs on Zoom.
This page is for two kinds of people in Lewisham and Blackheath. The first is going through a change, a move, a separation, a new baby, a parent getting older, and would like a psychic reading to help them see it clearly. The second has always sensed more than they let on and wants someone patient to teach them what to do with it. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, and I work with both.
I don't have a shopfront or a public address anywhere. We can choose the right route together in my free Intuitive Clarity Consultation, a 20-minute Zoom call with no reading and no obligation.
Readings for life's turning points
Lewisham is a borough people move through at important moments. Couples buy their first home in Catford or Hither Green because it's where they can afford a garden. Families who've been in Deptford for generations watch the streets around them change. People who arrived for university at Goldsmiths in New Cross stay on and build a life. Each of those moments carries questions that a reading can help with.
In a session I draw on three things together: what I sense psychically, what the oracle cards show, and the feel of your energy as we talk. I describe what I pick up, you tell me what lands, and we shape it into practical next steps. Turning points like these often bring someone in South East London to a reading:
- whether to stay in London or move out as the family grows
- a relationship that has quietly run its course
- a career change after years in the same role
- caring for an ageing parent while holding everything else together
Please treat what I offer as guidance to think with. A reading is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, so if a GP, counsellor or solicitor is the better person to help, I'll tell you gently. You can read more about formats and lengths on my page about booking a reading in London.
I loved Michelle's warmth and empathy and it was clear very quickly that she was accurately reading my energy.

Private psychic tuition for nervous beginners
Brockley and Forest Hill are full of creative households: illustrators, musicians, writers, teachers and people who spend Sunday afternoons at the Horniman Museum and Gardens with the children. Beginners from these streets are often thoughtful and a little cautious. They've had experiences they can't explain, a dream that came true, a strong sense of someone in the room, and they'd rather explore that privately before joining a group.
That's exactly what one-to-one psychic development tuition is for. We go at your pace, online or face to face in London, focusing on what you need rather than a fixed timetable. Some people want a handful of sessions to understand what's been happening to them; others want steady mentoring over months.
What early tuition sessions usually cover
Grounding and protecting your energy before you open up. Learning to tell the difference between intuition, anxiety and wishful thinking. Simple exercises to build trust in what you receive. Gentle work on any fear or block that's been holding you back.
I'm kind with beginners, and I'm also firm about good practice. Developing these gifts safely matters more than developing them quickly. A student who learns to ground properly in the first few weeks has a far steadier foundation than one who rushes into reading for friends and ends up drained.
Private tuition also suits people whose week is unpredictable. Teachers in Lee or Ladywell who can't commit to a fixed group evening during term time, or parents in Sydenham juggling school pick-ups, can book sessions when life allows and pick up where we left off.
Learning alongside others from Deptford to Blackheath
Some people find they learn best in company. Deptford has long had an artists' community around the creek and the high street, and people from that world often enjoy the shared energy of a group. My structured development courses move through three stages of live teaching with fellow learners, and every level can also be taken privately if group work doesn't suit you.
The courses build intuition, discernment and your connection to Spirit, with plenty of practice reading for each other in a safe, supportive setting. I'll share the current syllabus and upcoming start dates when we talk at your free consultation, so you can decide whether the timing works for you.
A very well orchestrated class. The teacher is very supportive, with lots of love and kindness, at the same time firm and disciplined in the teaching.

Mediumship and family loss
Not everyone in Lewisham who looks for a reading wants guidance about the future. Some want to feel close to someone they've lost. In a medium reading, I share what comes through from Spirit as clearly and carefully as I can. I'm always honest that no one can guarantee who will come through. Whatever is given, I pass on plainly, without dressing it up.
For many people, the first reading after a loss is less about evidence and more about being heard. That's fine. We go slowly, and you can stop at any point. If grief feels overwhelming, I'll also encourage you to lean on bereavement support alongside anything we do together.
How do I get to an in-person session from Lewisham or Blackheath?
Easily, because getting into central London from this borough is straightforward. The DLR runs from Lewisham up through Deptford Bridge towards Canary Wharf and Bank, the Overground serves Brockley, Honor Oak Park and Forest Hill, and Southeastern trains from Lewisham and Blackheath reach London Bridge quickly. If you'd like to see me in person, the details are confirmed with you once you've booked.
If you're booking tuition, a regular daytime slot at the same time each fortnight is the easiest to keep, and it avoids the evening crush at Lewisham station. When a child is unwell or the trains are disrupted, you can move that week's session from your confirmation email.
Many people from Blackheath, though, like the idea of a Zoom reading followed by a walk across the heath to let it settle, which is a very good way to absorb what came up. Readings are £75 for 30 minutes or £135 for an hour on Zoom, and £100 or £160 in person in London. All clients must be 18 or over. For neighbouring areas, my South London hub is a good next stop.
