If you live in Brixton, Clapham or anywhere in Lambeth, a psychic reading with me can be in person, at a pre-booked time in London with the exact place sent to you privately, or on Zoom from home. The Victoria and Northern lines mean the face-to-face option is rarely a long ride from anywhere in the borough.
Coming up the steps at Brixton station on a Friday evening, you meet the whole borough at once: music spilling out of Electric Avenue, people crossing Windrush Square, someone heading for Brockwell Park with a bag of shopping. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, and this page is for anyone in Brixton, Clapham or the wider borough of Lambeth who has been quietly thinking about seeing a psychic and wants to know what that would actually look like with me.
My practice has no public address, and every reading works just as well over Zoom, from a sofa in Stockwell or a quiet room at work in Vauxhall. Most people start with my free Intuitive Clarity Consultation. We chat for twenty minutes over Zoom; there are no cards and no reading, only a conversation about what you're looking for. It simply helps us work out what you need.
A psychic reading in Brixton terms: rhythm, roots and what comes next
Brixton has a long memory. The Caribbean families who shaped it, the sound systems and record shops, the markets that have outlasted every wave of change: there is a strong sense here of where people come from. In readings with people from this part of South London, family and ancestry come up often. Someone might want to understand a pattern they've watched repeat through their mother and grandmother, or feel the presence of a grandparent who used to tell them stories about home.
In a reading I work with three tools at once: my psychic sense, oracle cards and the energy I pick up from you. I tell you what I'm picking up in plain language, I check it with you, and we turn it into something you can use. People bring:
- relationship patterns they want to stop repeating
- a sense of being stuck between the life they were raised for and the one they want
- grief, and a wish to feel connected to someone who has passed
- a big decision, such as moving out of London or staying near family
If what you want is to hear from someone in Spirit, I'll be honest from the start: no one can guarantee who will come through. I work with what is given and I never stretch it into something it isn't. My readings in London and on Zoom page explains the formats in more detail.
I felt this energy of comfort and ease… positive guidance and insightful messages.

Side hustles and second careers
Walk across Clapham Common on a weekday morning and you'll pass people taking work calls on the move, running clubs, someone sketching a business plan on their phone between meetings. A lot of the people I hear from around Clapham High Street and Clapham North are in their late twenties and thirties, holding down a demanding job while building something of their own on the side: a coaching practice, a brand, a supper club, a podcast.
That stage is exciting and draining in equal measure. You are making decisions with incomplete information, usually late at night, and often without anyone to talk them through with who doesn't have an opinion about your pension. This is where my one-to-one coaching for people building a business comes in. It is ongoing 1:1 work that blends coaching with intuitive insight, so we look at the practical question (should I go part-time, should I take on this partner, is this the right moment) and at what your own instinct has been trying to tell you.
My working life before this included leading people in banking and in social care. Talk of invoices, notice periods and nervous investors doesn't faze me, and I'm just as happy talking about energy and intuition. We keep it grounded. Coaching and readings are guidance for reflection, not a substitute for professional financial, legal, medical or psychological advice, and I'll always say so if something sits better with an accountant, solicitor or GP.
Evenings and group events for friends
The stretch of river from Westminster Bridge past the Southbank Centre and the National Theatre is full of people who work in the arts, in theatre, design, music and broadcasting. Creative work runs on intuition, and many of the people I speak to from Waterloo and the South Bank already trust their instinct on stage or on the page but lose it when it comes to their own lives.
Groups often ask about something shared rather than one-to-one. I run private intuitive evenings and psychic parties for birthdays, hen gatherings, team socials and small celebrations, and you decide where they happen. Got a private room, a members' space or simply a roomy flat in Lambeth in mind? Tell me about it and we'll work out together if it suits the evening you're picturing. Workplace groups have another route: my corporate workshops run in your own office or over a video call.
Which line gets you from Brixton, Clapham or Vauxhall to an in-person session?
Usually the Victoria line from Brixton, Stockwell or Vauxhall, or the Northern line from Clapham, because Lambeth is one of the easiest boroughs to reach the centre from. The Victoria line runs from Brixton through Stockwell and Vauxhall into the West End in a few stops, and the Northern line serves Clapham Common, Clapham North and Stockwell. Waterloo and Vauxhall stations put mainline trains on your doorstep too. When you book an in-person reading, I confirm the meeting details in London directly with you.
A few practical points I find help people from this borough:
- Book a slot that avoids the Victoria line at its busiest if crowds unsettle you. Arriving calm makes a real difference.
- If you're coming from Streatham or further south, a Zoom reading from home can be just as clear, and you skip the journey entirely.
- My hours are 9am to 5pm, seven days a week, so a Saturday or Sunday session works well if weekdays are taken up with work.
Prices are fixed and shown before you book: a 30-minute reading is £75 on Zoom or £100 in person, and an hour is £135 or £160. I work only with adults, so clients must be 18 or over. You'll find more about the rest of the area on my South London page.
Learning to read for yourself: development and circles
Some people in Brixton and Clapham come for one reading and realise they want to understand the experience from the inside. Perhaps you've always had strong dreams, or you know who is calling before the phone rings, or you've had moments you've never told anyone about. That curiosity deserves proper, safe teaching.
My structured psychic development training runs in three levels as live group sessions, and the same material is available privately one-to-one if you'd rather learn alone. We work on self-trust, discernment, connecting with Spirit and keeping grounded. I'm warm with students, and I'm also firm about good practice, because developing these gifts properly matters. Ask me about the present syllabus and the date the next group starts when we have our free consultation call.
Joining her Psychic Circle was a great investment in my own spirituality.

Lambeth is a borough that has always made room for people finding their own voice. If you are somewhere between Vauxhall and Streatham and something in you is asking for clarity, the free consultation is a gentle way to start, with no pressure to book anything afterwards.
