Anyone in Islington can arrange a psychic reading face to face, at an agreed time somewhere in London that I name privately after booking, or on Zoom from home. With the Northern line at Angel and the Victoria line at Highbury & Islington, a face-to-face session is rarely more than a short ride away.
Working with a psychic from Islington involves none of the mystery or theatre you might be expecting. I'm Michelle Virtue, and the guidance I give people in the borough is practical: what's really going on in a situation, what your intuition already knows, and what you might do next. I work across London rather than from a shop on Upper Street, and my starting point is always a plain conversation.
Islington has a particular character. Angel and Upper Street are full of professionals who have little patience for vagueness. Clerkenwell is home to architects, designers and small agencies who live by deadlines and pitches. Highbury and Canonbury are family streets, where the day revolves around school runs, Highbury Fields and very full calendars. What these people tend to want from me is clarity they can act on.
Oracle card readings for grounded Islington minds
If you're sceptical by nature, a reading with oracle cards is often the easiest way in. The cards give us something visible to work with, a picture and a theme on the table, so you can follow how I'm arriving at what I tell you.
How I use the cards
I don't treat the cards as fortune telling. I lay them out, tune into your energy, and use the images as a starting point for psychic insight. A card about endings might open into a conversation about a job you've outgrown. A card about patience might confirm a feeling you've had about a relationship that needs time. You stay part of the conversation throughout.
If you're the kind of person who says straight away when something doesn't fit, good: I welcome that. If a card or an impression doesn't land, tell me. Sometimes it makes sense ten minutes later; sometimes it simply belongs to a different part of your life. Either way, your honest reactions make the reading sharper.
What you leave with
By the end of a session you should know three things: what's shaping the situation, which choices are open to you, and one concrete step you can take that week. Readings offer reflection and guidance, and they are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
I felt this energy of comfort and ease… positive guidance and insightful messages.

Ongoing coaching for founders and agency owners
A one-off reading is useful at a crossroads. For people running a business, though, the bigger value often comes from regular intuitive coaching sessions. Running a small design practice or agency off Exmouth Market or St John Street involves constant judgement calls: which client to take, when to hire, whether a partnership still works, how to price work you love.
In coaching we come back to those decisions over time. I combine psychic insight with the practical side of leadership, drawing on the leadership roles I once held in banking and in social care. Between sessions you notice how your intuition shows up in meetings and negotiations, and we build on what you've seen. The aim, over a run of sessions, is that you decide faster and second-guess yourself less.
Women who run their own businesses are a particular focus of mine. If you've built something in Islington and feel you've lost touch with the instinct that started it, coaching is a good place to rebuild that trust.
Sessions can be on Zoom from your desk, which most busy founders prefer, or in person in London when you want a proper break from the screen. Either way, what we discuss stays confidential, including anything about clients, staff or money worries you'd never say out loud in the office.
Fitting sessions around family life in Highbury and Canonbury
For parents, the hardest part of booking anything is the timing. I work from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week, so a Zoom session can slot into the school day, while a baby naps, or on a Sunday morning when someone else has the children at the park.
A few practical suggestions for Zoom at home:
- Choose a room with a door that closes, even if it's the spare room or the car parked outside.
- Use headphones if other people are in the house, so you can speak freely.
- Have a notebook to hand. People often want to jot down a phrase or a name.
- Give yourself ten quiet minutes afterwards before the next school pick-up.
If you'd rather get out of the house, I also see people face to face in London. Islington is well placed for that, with the Northern line at Angel and Archway, the Victoria line and Overground at Highbury & Islington, and the Elizabeth line at Farringdon on the Clerkenwell side. There's no public address; instead, your booking confirmation tells you where to come.
Private psychic development tuition for the quietly intuitive
Some people who come for a reading realise during it that they want to understand their own sensitivity. Perhaps you've always known who's calling before you look at your phone, or you walk into a room and feel the mood before anyone speaks. For that, I offer private tuition in psychic development, shaped entirely around you.
The tuition is tailored to you and moves at your pace. Our work covers trusting what you pick up, loosening whatever makes you dismiss it, and handling your sensitivity calmly and with confidence, so it becomes useful instead of unsettling. It suits complete beginners and those who've been practising for years. For anyone who later wants to train with others, I also teach structured group courses, and some students have gone on to join a Psychic Circle with me.
Joining her Psychic Circle was a great investment in my own spirituality.

Should you go in person or use Zoom from Islington?
Go in person if you want an hour that is properly separate from your desk or your kitchen table, and use Zoom when the week is already full; from Islington both are easy. Book a slot outside the rush hour if you are travelling from Angel or Archway, and leave ten minutes' slack for the walk at the other end. For a Clerkenwell agency, a lunchtime Zoom from a meeting room often works best. Parents in Highbury and Canonbury tend to find a mid-morning slot during school hours the calmest. If you are drawn to images and symbols in particular, my page on clairvoyant readings in London explains that side of the work.
Where to begin: a free 20-minute call
The free Intuitive Clarity Consultation lasts 20 minutes, takes place over Zoom, and is the natural first step. In it we discuss what's on your mind and whether a reading, ongoing coaching or tuition suits you best. There's no obligation, and you'll come away with a clearer sense of your options either way.
When you're ready, a 30-minute Zoom reading is £75, and an hour is £135; in person in London, the same lengths are £100 and £160. For neighbouring boroughs and the wider area, have a look at North London as a whole.
