In Haringey, a psychic reading can happen over Zoom in your own front room, or at a booked time in London, and I let you know privately where we are meeting. From Wood Green, Tottenham or Highgate the Tube is simple; Crouch End and Muswell Hill have no station, so Zoom often saves a bus ride.

Getting anywhere from the top of Muswell Hill means a bus down to Highgate, Bounds Green or Finsbury Park first. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, and in this corner of North London, training your own intuition is the area I'd most like to tell you about.

Haringey is an interesting mix. Crouch End and Muswell Hill have a strong community feel, full of creative households, book groups and people who care about how they live. Highgate holds a deep sense of the past. Wood Green and Tottenham have a younger, more diverse population, many of them curious about spirituality but wary of anything that feels like a performance. Across all of it runs a lot of green: Alexandra Palace on its hill, Highgate Wood and Queen's Wood, and the Parkland Walk following the old railway line.

Psychic development courses for Crouch End and Muswell Hill

If you've lived for years with gut feelings that turn out right, or dreams and impressions you can't account for, training is often more useful than another reading. My psychic development training has three structured levels taught live in a group; you're also welcome to take a level privately, just the two of us.

The aim is to help you trust your intuition, widen your psychic abilities and build discernment, so you learn to tell genuine insight from imagination or anxiety. We practise a lot. I'm warm with students, but I'm also disciplined, because confidence comes from doing the work rather than reading about it.

People who enjoy community life often like learning alongside others, and the group format suits that. In the past I've also run a Psychic Circle, where students met to practise connecting with Spirit and their guides together. I don't publish course dates or syllabus details online; I go through what's currently running, and which level fits you, in the free Intuitive Clarity Consultation on Zoom.

Mediumship training and Highgate's sense of the past

Highgate Cemetery, just over the Camden border, is famous for its Victorian tombs and quiet, overgrown paths, and walking there tends to make people think about those who came before. It's a fitting backdrop for a subject many developing students eventually want to explore: mediumship.

My mediumship development builds on the foundations of psychic work. It covers sensing the presence of someone in Spirit, receiving and interpreting information responsibly, and delivering it with care to the person who is grieving. Ethics matter enormously here, because the people receiving messages are often at their most vulnerable. No one can guarantee who will come through, and a well-trained medium never claims otherwise. I teach students to be honest about what they're receiving, including when nothing clear is coming.

Michelle is amazing, and so in tune with her guides. My reading was incredibly accurate and gave me much clarity.

Reiki and energy healing, face to face in London

I'm a certified Reiki Master Practitioner, and my healing sessions with Reiki are meant for people who feel depleted, scattered or emotionally heavy. Busy family homes in Hornsey and Muswell Hill can leave the person holding everything together with very little left for themselves, and a healing session gives you an hour where nothing is required of you.

During Reiki you remain fully clothed and simply rest while I work with your energy. Most people describe it as deeply calming. Think of it as complementary. Reiki does not replace medical care, so anyone living with an illness or symptoms should carry on with their GP or consultant as usual. Healing can be booked on its own or combined with a reading, and the free consultation is the best place to ask which suits you.

Readings for first-timers

For younger people in Wood Green and Tottenham, the question is usually about direction: a relationship that keeps circling back, a career that doesn't fit, or a feeling of being stuck. A one-to-one psychic reading draws on psychic insight, the imagery of oracle cards and my reading of your energy to show what's influencing the situation and where your choices lie.

I keep readings down to earth. You won't hear dramatic predictions or anything designed to frighten you into coming back. You'll hear what I'm sensing, have time to ask questions, and leave with clear next steps. Readings are guidance only and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

Travel is easy from the eastern side of Haringey: Piccadilly line trains call at Turnpike Lane, Wood Green and Bounds Green, and the Victoria line stops at Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale, so central London is quick to reach for an in-person session. Where we'll meet is confirmed to you as part of booking.

How do I plan an in-person session from Crouch End or Muswell Hill?

Start with the bus, not the Tube: from Crouch End or Muswell Hill, the first leg to Highgate, Finsbury Park or Bounds Green can take as long as the ride into town, so count it before you choose a slot. Booking for late morning or early afternoon keeps you clear of both the commuter crush and the school run.

On the way home, the climb back up the hill is a good moment to let a session settle; Alexandra Palace and the Parkland Walk are both close enough for a short walk before you go back indoors. If a bus strike, a delay on the Northern line or a sick child gets in the way, rearrange from your booking email, or switch to Zoom and keep the time you had set aside.

Choosing between Zoom and London from Haringey

Here's a simple way to decide. If you're in Crouch End or Muswell Hill, without a station on the doorstep, or you have children to collect, Zoom saves you an hour or more of buses and Tube and lets you rest afterwards in your own home. If you're near the Piccadilly or Victoria line, or Highgate on the Northern line, and you'd value the change of scene, an in-person session in London is very manageable.

For development students, the balance is slightly different. Practising with real people in a room has its own value, while private mentoring over Zoom lets you fit regular lessons around school hours, shifts or creative deadlines. You can also combine the two over time. I'm happy to talk through what's realistic for your week before you commit to anything, including whether to begin with group training or one-to-one sessions.

Either way, I'm available from 9am to 5pm every day of the week. A 30-minute Zoom reading is £75 and an hour is £135, with in-person sessions in London at £100 and £160. Courses, mentoring and healing are discussed individually in the free consultation.

Michelle identified behaviours and patterns holding me back with astonishing accuracy and provided helpful advice to overcome these.

Psychic Readings & Development in Haringey: FAQs

Do you run a psychic development group in Crouch End or Muswell Hill?

No, I don't run groups in Crouch End, Muswell Hill or anywhere else in Haringey. The development courses run live with a group, with a private option too, and the free 20-minute Zoom consultation is where I explain current formats, where groups meet and when they start. Private mentoring on Zoom is often the easiest option if you'd rather avoid the trip into town.

What's the easiest way to reach an in-person session from Muswell Hill?

From Muswell Hill the quickest route is usually a bus to Highgate for the Northern line, or to Bounds Green or Finsbury Park for the Piccadilly and Victoria lines. If you'd like to come in, appointments are in London, and you'll be told where once the booking is in. Because the journey adds time, many people in Muswell Hill choose Zoom instead.

Can Reiki help if I'm run down after a busy few months in Haringey?

Reiki can help you feel calmer and more rested, which many people value when life has been demanding. As a complementary practice it sits beside, and never instead of, medical care or treatment you already have; it doesn't replace either. If tiredness or low mood continues, please see your GP. Healing can be combined with a reading, and we can discuss it in the free consultation.

Can I learn mediumship if I've never trained before?

Yes, though most people start with psychic development first, because it builds the foundations of trust, discernment and energy awareness that mediumship relies on. Training is open to anyone aged 18 or over. We'll talk through your experience and the right starting point in the free consultation, and I'll be honest if I think another level would suit you better.
