Shenfield, the Elizabeth line and a London session

Shenfield is the eastern end of the Elizabeth line, so you can ride straight under the City with no changes, and the faster Greater Anglia services stop there too. Brentwood station has the Elizabeth line, and Ingatestone sits on the Greater Anglia line just beyond Shenfield. Few places in Essex are better placed for meeting me face to face.

Plenty of people in Brentwood already split the week between home and an office in town, so coming in for a session doesn't have to mean a special trip. Others deliberately keep it separate: a morning off, the train in, the reading, and a quiet ride home to think. Both work. What matters is that you arrive without rushing and leave with space to reflect, rather than going straight into a client call.

All in-person work happens in London. You book a time, and I let you know where we'll meet. A half-hour reading in person costs £100. What is the best time to travel from Brentwood for a London session?

Mid-morning or early afternoon is usually the calmest time to come in from Brentwood. Elizabeth line trains from Shenfield and Brentwood are busiest in the morning peak, and the fast Greater Anglia services fill quickly with commuters, so an appointment from around eleven means a seat and a quieter ride. If you are combining it with a meeting in the City, put the session first, so the meeting carries the time pressure instead of the reading.

For business owners, the other route is to keep London for occasions and run regular coaching on Zoom from the office or home. A 30-minute call at the start of the week, before the phone starts ringing, often does more good than an hour squeezed between site visits. If neither the train nor the diary will cooperate this week, you can shift the slot yourself through the confirmation email.

Private events and team sessions

Brentwood does a good celebration, and a psychic evening makes a memorable one. My private events are built around your guests and can take place at a venue you choose, whether that's a family home in Hutton, a marquee in the garden or a room hired for a milestone birthday. We agree numbers, timings and the feel of the evening well ahead, and anyone taking part must be 18 or over.

Companies have a version of this too. I run corporate workshops in two strands. One looks at how leaders can use intuition when making strategic calls. The other uses mindfulness and energy work to help a team stay focused and steady under pressure. Both can be delivered in your own office or over Zoom, and they make a thoughtful alternative to the usual away-day. Not every question is about business. Partners, teenagers heading off to university, ageing parents, a house move you can't quite commit to: these come up in Brentwood homes as much as anywhere.
