A psychic reading from Grays or anywhere in Thurrock can happen on Zoom, which fits most easily around shifts, or in person in London. The c2c from Grays runs straight into Fenchurch Street, and the place we'll meet is confirmed to you privately after booking.
Someone finishes a run of early shifts at a distribution warehouse off the A13, sleeps through the afternoon, and only then has a quiet hour to think about the thing that has been bothering them for weeks. That is a very ordinary Thurrock week, and it is the reason I've built this page around rotas. I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, writing for anyone who wants a psychic in Grays, Tilbury or Chafford Hundred.
Thurrock is only about 20 miles from central London, so coming in for a face-to-face reading is genuinely realistic here. I don't hold sessions anywhere in Thurrock itself.
How long is the c2c from Grays to Fenchurch Street?
About 35 minutes, which makes the c2c the easy part of the trip. Tilbury Town, Chafford Hundred and Stanford-le-Hope are c2c stations too. Fenchurch Street lands you on the City side of London, a short onward trip from where we meet. On a day off, you could be back in Grays by mid-afternoon.
Plenty of people prefer to sit with someone in person, especially for a first reading. Face to face, I read the energy around you, bring in oracle cards if they'll clarify things, and explain each impression as it arrives, in everyday language. There's space for your questions, and before you leave we pin down two or three things to do once you're home. My page on readings in person in London sets out how those sessions run and what each length covers.
I felt this energy of comfort and ease… positive guidance and insightful messages.

Fitting a reading around shift patterns
Logistics, the docks at Tilbury and the shops at Lakeside all keep long, odd hours, and a lot of people here work earlies, lates, nights or a rota that changes every week. My working hours are 9am to 5pm, seven days a week, which gives some room to fit around that. Here is a rough guide to matching the format to the shift:
| Your pattern | What usually fits | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Early shifts, finishing early afternoon | Zoom, mid to late afternoon | You're home, fed and still awake enough to take it in |
| Late shifts | Zoom in the morning | A clear head before you set off |
| Nights | Zoom on a rest day, never straight off a shift | Tiredness makes it hard to absorb what comes up |
| Weekdays off, or a run of rest days | In person in London via c2c | The train is quick and the day is yours |
| A rota that keeps changing | Zoom, booked once the rota is out | You can move it yourself if the rota shifts |
None of this is a rule. Some people like to book something right after a shift so they can't talk themselves out of it, and that's fine too. If your rota changes after you've booked, the email confirming your appointment includes a link to rearrange or cancel, so you don't need to ring round or explain.
Zoom readings from South Ockendon to Stanford-le-Hope
When the week is already full, a reading over video call saves the travel completely. All it takes is a screen with a camera, wifi that won't drop out and somewhere the kids, the dog or a housemate won't wander in. Earphones help if the house is busy, and a glass of water nearby is never a bad idea. On screen the reading matches what you'd get sitting opposite me: the same attention, the same cards and the same honest conversation.
The questions a reading can hold are as varied here as anywhere. Relationships that have gone quiet, money worries that sit underneath everything, whether to go for the supervisor role or stay on the floor, a move away from the area, or a general feeling of being stuck. I can't make the decision for you, and I won't try. What I can do is show you what's underneath it and help you see your options more clearly.
Mediumship for families with someone to remember
Tilbury has been a working riverside town for generations, with the docks, the old fort guarding the Thames and families who have lived within sight of the water for a long time. When someone from a family like that dies, the loss can ripple through a whole street.
A sitting with a medium is my gentle effort to reach a person you've lost, now in Spirit, and to relay whatever I'm given. I'll be truthful with you from the start: no one can guarantee who will come through, and nobody can promise what a loved one might say. I describe what I'm getting carefully, I don't fish for information and I check with you as we go. If a loss is very fresh, I may suggest giving it a little time first.
A psychic night for friends in Grays or Chafford Hundred
Some of the warmest evenings I do are for groups of friends or family who want something different from a meal out. I offer private psychic events and parties at a venue you choose, so if you'd like to host one in a front room in Grays, or hire a function space somewhere in Thurrock, we can talk that through. I don't run public nights here; an event only happens because you've invited me.
Before the night we agree the guest numbers, timings and the kind of evening you want, from relaxed messages to a guided circle where everyone joins in. Every guest must be 18 or over. There's no set price on the website because each event is shaped differently, so drop me a line through the contact form and we'll go from there.
I am normally resistant to give 5 star ratings, but I have truly been moved by Michelle's guidance.

Where to start if you live in Thurrock
If you're not sure which route suits you, book the free Intuitive Clarity Consultation. The call lasts twenty minutes, happens over Zoom and involves no reading at all. Its whole purpose is to work out what would genuinely help, whether that is a single reading, ongoing coaching or learning to develop your own intuition. You'll find more on other Essex towns on my Essex overview.
A kind word of caution: my readings are there for guidance and perspective. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and anyone booking needs to be 18 or over.
