A psychic reading from Chelmsford is easy to arrange. Zoom from home or a quiet office is the simple route, and it fits a lunch hour. To meet in person you'd travel into London, and Greater Anglia gets you to Liverpool Street in about 35 to 40 minutes, and the meeting place is confirmed with your booking.
I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher, and this page sets out how readings, coaching and courses work if you're in the city centre, Great Baddow, Springfield, Writtle or Broomfield.
A Chelmsford working week, and where a reading fits
Chelmsford is both the county town and Essex's city. County Hall is here, Anglia Ruskin University has a campus here, and the hospital at Broomfield, the schools and the offices around the station employ a great many more. Add the daily commuters heading for the City and you have a place full of capable, conscientious people. In my experience, conscientious people are often the ones who quietly put their own questions to the bottom of the pile.
The questions professionals bring to me tend to circle the same ground. Should I go for the promotion, or step back for a while? Is this restructure the push I needed to leave? Why do I keep ending up with the same sort of manager, the same sort of team, the same exhausted Friday? A reading won't decide for you. What it can do is show you what sits underneath the decision, so you can act with your eyes open.
My tools are simple: intuition, a deck of oracle cards and close attention to your energy. I talk you through what I'm picking up as I go, in plain words. People often say they expected something mysterious and got something closer to a very honest conversation.
Coaching for career progression
When the same work question keeps returning month after month, a single reading may not be enough on its own. That's usually when I suggest ongoing intuitive coaching, which is the heart of my work with women and with people building or leading something. If you want to practise on your own between sessions, my journal piece on making decisions with your intuition is a good companion.
Coaching is one to one and blends intuitive insight with practical strategy. My earlier career was spent leading teams, in a bank and afterwards in social care, so I know what a performance review feels like from both sides of the desk, and how much energy a large organisation can quietly take from you. Together we look at your patterns, your options and what your intuition has been trying to tell you, and we turn that into steps you can actually take at work next week.
It suits people who are:
- stepping into a senior role and doubting whether they belong there
- leaving a public-sector or corporate job to work for themselves
- returning to work after a career break and unsure which direction to face
- successful on paper but feeling flat, and unable to say why
Sessions run on Zoom, so you can join from home in Springfield or from a quiet meeting room in town.
Is Zoom or a London appointment better from Chelmsford?
Neither is better in itself; the right one depends on how your week runs. There are three sensible ways to work with me from here.
- Zoom from home or work. No parking at the station, no rush back for school pick-up. You need a quiet room, a decent connection and half an hour to yourself. My page on readings over Zoom covers what to expect.
- In person in London. If you already commute, a reading can fit around the office day. From Liverpool Street the onward trip is short, and I send the meeting details once you've booked, as there's no public address.
- A mix of both. Some people like to come in for a first reading, then carry on with coaching on Zoom once they know me.
If you split your week between the office and home, the home days are usually the easiest for a reading. There's no commute either side, and afterwards you can take a walk along the Chelmer or out to Hylands Park and let what came up settle before the next email arrives.
To be clear, I don't see anyone in Chelmsford itself. Every in-person session is in London. If travel is off the table for a while, because of health, caring for someone or cost, everything on this page works on Zoom, and if a meeting overruns you can shift the slot yourself from the booking email.
This was my first experience having any form of psychic reading… as soon as I arrived I was put at ease.

Psychic development courses for curious minds
A university city always has people who would rather learn than simply be read for. If you've had strong hunches all your life, or you sense things about people and want to understand what is happening, my psychic development courses are built for exactly that. There are three levels, taught live in a group, and you can take any of them privately instead.
Over the levels you learn to trust your intuition, stretch what you can perceive, deepen your link with Spirit and tell a true impression from wishful thinking. Mediumship comes later, once the foundations are steady. I hold a safe, nurturing space and I keep standards high, because grounded development matters more than speed. Students need to be 18 or over, so this suits Anglia Ruskin students once they've reached that age, along with teachers, nurses, council staff and anyone else who feels drawn to it.
The practical details, such as how the groups currently meet, the content of each level and the next start date, are things I go through at the free consultation, so you get accurate details rather than dates that may have moved.
A very well orchestrated class. The teacher is very supportive, with lots of love and kindness, at the same time firm and disciplined in the teaching.

Your first step from Chelmsford
The free Intuitive Clarity Consultation is twenty minutes on Zoom, and it's a chat, not a reading. We talk through what's going on and I suggest the format that fits, whether that's a single reading, coaching or a course. Readings themselves start at £75 for 30 minutes on Zoom, or £100 for 30 minutes in person in London.
A gentle word before you book. My readings and coaching offer guidance and a different perspective. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and if you're facing something in one of those areas, please speak to the right professional as well.
If you live further out, towards Maldon, Witham or the Dengie, my wider Essex page covers travel from the rest of the county.
