Uxbridge and the rest of Hillingdon are part of London, so an in-person psychic reading is possible: we meet by appointment in London, with the details confirmed when you book. Because the ride into the centre is long from Uxbridge, Ruislip or West Drayton, Zoom from home is often the easier choice.
Say you live in Ruislip or West Drayton and you have been meaning to book a psychic reading for months. Each time you look, the maths puts you off: a long ride in on the Metropolitan or the Elizabeth line, the session itself, then the same trip home, and most of a day has gone. For a borough the size of Hillingdon, where Uxbridge sits at the very end of two Underground lines, that is a real obstacle, and it is the reason this page leans towards Zoom.
I'm Michelle Virtue, a professionally trained Psychic Medium, Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Teacher. Everything I offer in London also works over video: readings, mediumship, private tuition and the free first conversation. If you do want to sit with me in person, that is possible too, and I explain the travel at the end.
Why Zoom is the natural choice from Uxbridge and Hillingdon
Hillingdon is the biggest of the western boroughs, stretching from the Northwood edge of Hertfordshire down to Heathrow. Uxbridge is the last stop on both the Metropolitan and the Piccadilly lines, and that tells you most of what you need to know about journey times into the centre. A video session cuts out the travel completely and leaves the reading exactly as it would be face to face.
On a screen I tune in to your energy in just the same way, I lay the oracle cards where you can see them, and we talk throughout. Being somewhere familiar, with the door closed and nobody watching the clock on a return train, helps many people settle enough to take in what comes up. My page about psychic readings over Zoom covers how to set up, what to have ready and what happens if the connection drops. If you have never had a reading at all, my journal explains what a psychic reading involves.
The cost is simple: thirty minutes on Zoom is £75 and an hour is £135, with in-person sessions in London at £100 and £160. Booking runs from 9am to 5pm every day of the week, and the free 20-minute Intuitive Clarity Consultation is always on video, so you can try the format before paying for anything.
A few practical tips help a video session go smoothly from home. Choose a room where you will not be interrupted, prop the laptop or phone at eye level, and keep headphones nearby if the house is busy. If you share a home in Hayes or Uxbridge with family or flatmates, a closed door matters more than a perfect background; nobody will see much beyond your face and the cards on my side.
Brunel students and young adults in Uxbridge
Brunel University London brings thousands of students to Uxbridge, and student life comes with its own pressures: choosing a course or a career, relationships that start and end quickly, homesickness, money, the sense that everyone else has it worked out. A reading can be a calm space to think about direction, and many younger people find a 30-minute Zoom session is enough to come away with a clearer view.
Two honest points matter here. I only work with people aged 18 or over, so that applies to every student and every guest. And a reading is guidance and reflection; it is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If your mood or anxiety is getting on top of you, the university's wellbeing service or your GP should be your first call, and I am glad to be one source of support alongside them, never instead of them.
Without me telling her the whole story, she knew it already.

Private development tuition
Ruislip Lido and the ancient woodland around it are a lovely place to notice how your body and mind respond when you slow down. Plenty of people know the feeling of a quiet sense of knowing that arrives on a walk, once they stop thinking so hard. That is intuition, and it can be trained.
My private psychic development tuition is one-to-one and paced around you. Beginners use it to understand what they have been sensing and to tell real intuition apart from worry. People with some experience use it to deepen their ability, clear blocks and build a grounded, confident way of working. Because it is private, sessions can happen on Zoom from your living room in Ruislip or Northwood, which removes the commute from the equation entirely. There is more on one-to-one mentoring for your own gifts, and if you later want a group setting, my structured courses are an option to talk about at the consultation.
A typical early session might include:
- a short grounding practice you can repeat at home or on a walk
- a simple exercise in reading energy or cards, with feedback
- a conversation about what you noticed during the week and what got in the way
Mediumship and family ties
Hayes and West Drayton sit along the Elizabeth line with Heathrow just to the south, and many families there have relatives spread across several countries. When someone dies far away, the usual rituals of saying goodbye are often missed, and grief can feel unfinished.
A mediumship sitting is an attempt to connect with people in Spirit and bring through evidence of who they were, along with any message they have for you. I am honest about how it works: no one can guarantee who will come through, and I would rather tell you nothing is coming than invent it. Sittings work well on video, so a relative in another country can join the call. My page on psychic medium sittings explains more about what to expect.
What is the quickest way into London from Uxbridge, Hayes or West Drayton?
It depends on which end of the borough you start from. The Elizabeth line from Hayes & Harlington and West Drayton is the quickest way in for the south of the borough. From Uxbridge, Ruislip and Hillingdon station, the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines run into the centre, though it is a longer ride. Every in-person session is booked as an appointment, and as there is no public address the place we meet is shared with you once you have booked.
From Uxbridge, allow the best part of an hour each way and pick a slot that avoids the morning crush. If you work rotating shifts at Heathrow, keep in-person sessions for a rest day, and use Zoom on the weeks when the rota leaves no room.
If something delays you on the way, let me know. I would much rather adjust than hurry you through your time. For the wider area, see my overview of West London.
I was late getting to my appointment yet she gave me time to get to her and did not rush through the reading.
